Lambrusco’s natural habitat: don’t forget Emilian cuisine!

We spend so much time these days talking about how Lambrusco is such a great pairing for international gastronomy, like the cuisines of Mexico or China. One of the world’s most famous Italian wine experts loves to talk about how Lambrusco is the perfect wine for Texas BBQ (hint: he’s from Austin!).

We turned to our friend, the now retired Italian food and wine expert Jeremy Parzen, for his thoughts:

I love pairing Lini 910 with nearly anything I’m cooking for dinner. I especially love the Metodo Classico with steak. But I always come back to Lambrusco’s natural habitat: Emilia. That’s a photo I took at dinner with Alicia in her hometown some years ago. Prosciutto, mortadella, culatello, and salame, the sanctified quadrivium of Lambrusco pairing.

Thank you Jeremy for sharing this wonderful photo! We hoped you enjoyed the meal.
